On 26 and 27 August 2026, Transparency International Kenya convened a CSO Assessment Workshop on Digital Tools for Uasin Gishu and Baringo Counties to assess the adoption and utilization of the Uwajibikaji Pamoja Platform and the Action for Transparency (A4T) Mobile App.

The engagement provided an opportunity for CSOs to share experiences, review platform analytics, identify challenges affecting uptake and reporting, and develop recommendations to strengthen the use of the tools. Participants also reviewed progress on previous advocacy interventions and developed new county-level intervention plans to address emerging governance and corruption concerns.

The workshop further strengthened collaboration among CSOs, the media and the Uasin Gishu County Government, reaffirming a shared commitment to promoting transparency, accountability, citizen participation and the effective use of digital tools to address governance concerns.

📢 Over the next 2 days, TI-Kenya is hosting a Media Stakeholders' Conference under the #TupiganeNaUfisadi project, supported by the @EUinKenya.

This multi-stakeholder forum brings together media, CSOs, govt & academia to:
✅Reflect on county-level journalism
✅Develop a synergized media strategy
✅Promote evidence-based corruption reporting
✅Enhance partnerships for good governance

Together with @TISAKenya and @KAS_Kenya, we aim to strengthen the role of media & CSOs in advancing transparency & accountability at the county level.
