I really really hope Iran means that. It has a tremendous historic role to play in saving humanity and its own people from US destroyers of nations; yet someone has to give the signal for the global war on Zionism, and it has to be Iran. Freedom will be paid for in blood, as ever
Israel has kidnapped another six Australians in international waters before torturing them, but our PM has once again remained silent in fear of offending the genocidal state. #sydneycriminallawyers#israel#kidnap#torture

This is a common pattern of colonial powers when facing defeat. Escalation, devastation, indiscriminate violence. The French in Algeria, the British in Kenya, the Apartheid South African in southern Africa, the US in Vietnam. This is a glaring sign of Israeli weakness.
Iran's theory of the case, like so much else, seems to be confirmed. Namely that forcing a new material reality upon the US as imperial hegemon, constraining and isolating it, through its determined resistance will inevitably have consequences for the Israeli settler colony in the region. In a direct confrontation, which we saw in June, Iran is quite confident of its strength.
It is interesting how much the US administration has tried to mobilize Christian armageddonist language and imagery in rather clumsy, artificial ways on behalf of genocidal programs —the Oval Office scene, the Easter prayer, crusading statements by Sec of War etc…—as a kind of counter to Shi’i martyrdom and resistance theology on behalf of sovereignty, justice and solidarity with oppressed peoples. Now it seems Trump’s derangements reveal an envy for Iran’s revolutionary history and culture as well. Very derivative and weak desperation from a recent settler colonial state and society overseeing a collapsing imperialist system. Trump wants to sponsor “revolutionarily wonderful” changes through genocide?!?
It’s a real contrast to the dignity, calm, rootedness of Iran in its continuous history of civilization that seamlessly integrates its ancient past, Islamicate history to which Iranians made the profoundest of contributions, and comparatively recently (600 years!) its Shi’i devotional practice.
“God Bless the Great People of Iran” for adhering to the path of resistance and human dignity for all “The Free Peoples of the World”.
