Life has a funny way of bringing people back into your life.
Sometimes, the person you think you are helping today may become the person who changes your life tomorrow.
Never underestimate the value of being genuinely useful to people.

@OmokongbeW Please don't o, some of us look up to that game, consistency is key and I'm 100% sure. I pray I don't miss out on the day the game go come. Have been a good follower of yours.
My wife's family calls themselves everyday! I mean everyday. Brother calling sister, mum and dad speaking to everyone every single day.
My own family na Giran! If there's no cause then there's no point. We only call each other when it's necessary.
When we got married, she was like you've not spoken to my parents this month - hehehehe 😂 I said what's the occasion? She was are you not supposed to call to greet?
I said I've not greeted my dad in 3 months
Now she calls and hands me the phone, I greet them well and return the phone. Everyone knows we are from different backgrounds but the love they have for & me for them is everlasting.
Anytime I am around them na balling from dawn to dusk but that call to greet, e hard me baje baje.
So my sister, call them and hand your good husband the phone he will greet them well.
Again, do not invest all your money in the stock market..

You call it pride; I call it knowing my worth. It’s not pride when you refuse to betray your values. I don’t bow to please—I stand to remain honest.
Call it pride if you must; I call it self-respect.
Better misunderstood for pride than praised for compromise.
How To Restart your life at 45
At 45, restarting feels heavier, because you are not just rebuilding income, you are rebuilding identity, reputation, confidence, and sometimes family structure. But hear this clearly, 45 is not too late, it only becomes too late when you refuse to move.
Accept your reality without drama, sit down alone, and audit your life honestly. What skills do you have that can produce income today, what debts are hanging over you, what lifestyle is silently draining you. Remove emotions from the table, deal with facts. At this stage, clarity is more powerful than motivation.
Stabilize your finances before chasing big dreams. Cut unnecessary expenses immediately, if you need to downsize your apartment, your car, or your social lifestyle, do it without shame. Pride will destroy you faster than poverty, and your focus now should be survival first, then stability, then growth. Build a small emergency cushion, even if it takes time, because restarting without financial discipline is like building on sand.
Upgrade or reposition your skills, because the world does not pay for age, it pays for value. Ask yourself what you can learn within 6 to 12 months that the market will reward. It could be tech, project management, digital marketing, operations, consulting in your previous field, or a specialized trade. You do not need to compete with younger people on energy, compete with them on experience combined with new knowledge.
Leverage your network differently. At 45, relationships are assets, old colleagues, former clients, church members, industry contacts. Reach out with humility and clarity, not to beg, but to position yourself. Many opportunities at this level will come through conversations, not job portals.
Protect your mental health fiercely. Restarting at 45 can feel embarrassing, especially when your peers appear settled. Ignore comparison, some people peak early and plateau, some bloom late and dominate. Your timeline is your own, focus on consistent daily action.
Start small, but think long term. Do not chase quick money because you feel behind, desperation will cost you more than delay. Build something steady, even if it begins as freelancing, consulting, a small service business, or learning a new industry from scratch. Consistency will beat intensity at this age.
Forgive yourself for past mistakes, bad investments, failed businesses, broken relationships, missed opportunities. If you do not forgive yourself, you will carry regret into your next chapter and sabotage it.
Restarting at 45 is not about proving anything to anyone, it is about refusing to give up on yourself. You still have strength, you still have wisdom, you still have time.
Move quietly, stay disciplined, rebuild intentionally.
My friend just said “45 is not the end,it can be the beginning of your most stable and powerful decade”.
So I have added it here

Accumulation. Protection. Preservation. Restraint.
Treasury Bills Vs Fixed Deposit
Treasury Bills (T-Bills)
You lend money to the government for a short time and earn by buying at a discount.
Fixed Deposit (FD)
You lend money to a bank for a fixed period and earn stated interest.
Treasury Bills vs Fixed Deposit (Mathematical Breakdown)
Assume you have ₦1,000,000 to invest for 1 year (364 days).
Treasury Bills example
Assume T-Bill annual yield = 18%
Face value = ₦1,000,000
Discount = 18% of ₦1,000,000 = ₦180,000
Amount you pay today = ₦1,000,000 − ₦180,000 = ₦820,000
Amount you receive at maturity = ₦1,000,000
Profit = ₦1,000,000 − ₦820,000 = ₦180,000
Effective return = 18%
Fixed Deposit example
Assume bank FD rate = 12%
Principal = ₦1,000,000
Interest for 1 year = 12% of ₦1,000,000 = ₦120,000
Amount at maturity = ₦1,120,000
Profit = ₦120,000
Early withdrawal often means reduced or zero interest.
Comparing both of the together,
Treasury Bills
Capital outlay = ₦820,000
Profit = ₦180,000
Fixed Deposit
Capital outlay = ₦1,000,000
Profit = ₦120,000
Difference in profit = ₦60,000
Finally
With T-Bills, you tie down less money and earn more.
With Fixed Deposit, you lock more capital for lower returns.
This is why smart money parks idle cash in Treasury Bills, not bank deposits.
They are doing landlord meeting in our area because of one tenant like that..
That tenant was asked to pack out for no good Reason, the tenant sue landlord to court...
Tenant keep only one chair and no luggage inside...and use padlock and lock the room..
Then at the front door, he wrote with a paper...
LANDLORD IF ITS SURE FOR YOU BREAK THE PADLOCK.
😂
Your portfolio should be structured, not emotional.
- 40% in safer stocks like banks and consumer goods. These provide stability and steady cash flow.
- 30% in growth stocks such as tech and telecoms. This is where capital appreciation comes from.
- 20% in bonds or Treasury Bills. This protects your downside and keeps liquidity available.
- 10% in high-risk, high-reward ideas. Speculative bets with upside, not your entire net worth.
Not 100% in one sure tip from a WhatsApp group admin. Diversification isn’t optional. It’s insurance against your own bad decisions.
Bro, a man doesn’t just *say* he’ll figure it out. He builds the ability to.
My brother used to tell me, resilience isn’t about avoiding the fall, it’s about how quickly you stand back up. Debt, heartbreak, loss… these are tests of character, not pleas for sympathy.
Learn a skill. Build something. Control what you can. The rest will follow. Don’t wait for opportunity, create it.
Your job is not your life.
Take your lunch break. Relax during after-hours.
Enjoy your weekends.
Take the holidays off.
Use your PTO & sick leave.
You agreed to do your job in exchange for the pay and benefits.
You didn't sign up to sell your soul and every moment of your personal life.
If you want to build wealth, understand the 7-5-3-1 Rule of Investing:
7 – Stay Invested for at Least 7 Years
Time is your biggest advantage. Long holding periods allow compounding to work and reduce the impact of short-term market noise.
5 – Diversify Across at Least 5 Assets or Sectors
Never bet your future on one idea. Spread your investments across different sectors (tech, finance, energy, consumer goods, etc.) or asset classes (stocks, bonds, real estate, funds). Diversification protects you from major losses.
3 – Contribute Consistently at Least 3 Times a Year (Ideally More)
Wealth is built through consistency, not timing the market. Regular investing smooths out market swings and builds discipline.
1 – Focus on 1 Long-Term Goal
Whether it’s financial freedom, retirement, or generational wealth, one clear goal keeps you patient, disciplined, and less emotional during market downturns.
Wealth isn’t built fast.
It’s built with time, structure, and discipline.
