@JacobTipper @mralibongo If a tight crit is part of a series then get some points in the previous rounds to make sure your gridded. If you don’t look ahead to the likes of Stockton, Abergavenny and ride the other rounds accordingly to gain your grid then that’s your own fault in my book 🤷♂️
@JacobTipper @mralibongo Can’t comment on the National road series now I’ve not been there for getting on 7 years but I think the road series headed off in a direction where it just catered for one skill set and produced similar winners a few years back. It was a series of pretty similar style circuits🤷♂️
@JacobTipper @mralibongo ... why should they lose out and just be faced with wide open crits every round? A National series should be a variety otherwise the danger is we just cater for the same 20 guys each round and people the don’t enter because the circuits ignore their skill set.
@mralibongo Understand the need for it to be realistic for people to get round even if not on the front row @JacobTipper but there should also be a recognition that different types of crits suit different riders. Tight crits suit some riders more than a kermes style crit (Otley)...

Here’s a race that doesn’t go up every conceivable climb really slow with minimal finishers and look it’s pretty entertaining - UK take note #horsesforcourses
Count myself lucky to have raced, lived and been welcomed in Europe particularly as a young athlete making my way thanks to @DaveRaynerFund backing. Time to help those coming through now achieve the same #youngathletes
