@jEvisHome @home_assistant Yeah, mmWave sensors are a bit of a toss up when it comes to sleep detection. Non are truly reliable.

I think reliable sleep detection has become the new "holy grail" of presence detection. 😂

@jEvisHome @home_assistant I considered load cells for a while, but they are bulky, tend to loose their calibration over time and sometimes they can even give very unstable/incorrect readings.

@jEvisHome @home_assistant Ok, good yo know. I'm a bit worried that it won't work for me. We have a similar mattress kombination. First a 26cm thick pocket spring mattress with memory foam layers and on top a 8cm thick topper. I'll have to investigate this a bit more, but I really like your solution.
