Father Sergio Gutiérrez Benítez was a Mexican priest who secretly became a masked professional wrestler at night so that he could support a children's orphanage. ❤️

At 22, Benitez was a drug addict and alcoholic. Eventually, after turning his life around, he became an ordained priest in Rome, Spain, and even taught theology at Catholic universities in Mexico. After moving to Texacoco, he founded an orphanage. When he went out to ask for funding, he found people were reluctant to give him money. So he donned a mask and adopted an alter ago: Frey Tormenta, or Friar Storm.

For over two decades, he led a double life: by day, he was a dedicated priest caring for orphans, and by night, a luchador in the wrestling ring. His efforts raised enough money to sustain his orphanage, providing food, shelter, and education for hundreds of children.

He life later inspired the 2006 film "Nacho Libre" starring Jack Black.
