Hot(?) take: I think this is one of the more successful moments of Act II. A brilliant display of someone who has always seen themselves as the *Actual* Victim using flimsy logic and baseless accusations to rally an uninformed public to incite violence in the name of a "cause"...
(mild wicked pt 2 spoilers in clip) I'm really curious if they'll change this, the absolute worst line in the show. Like story-wise it's very sloppy but they also have to cram all the words in to fit the meter, it's always stood out as being so bad
....which is really just a sneaky, abhorrent way to enact a personal vendetta against those who they feel have wronged them in some way. And, in this case, to prove their undying loyalty to someone in power who previously rejected their affection and advances. Heartless, indeed.
Tell your movie theater to turn it up to a 7…. I’ve gone to a couple screenings and they are more like a 6.4 :/ if you want it the way it was intended 7 is the way.
- Giving Elphaba her own "SOTR" moment @ the end of TWAI is honestly a BRILLIANT touch of visual storytelling 🎶🌈🐦⬛
- The world continues to love Bowen Yang. Rightfully so. 🤓😂💙
- Ariana. Oscar. Now. 🫧🏆🥹

My contribution to the #Wicked discourse (as unnecessary as it may be):
- Once again, Jon Chu proves his worth, not just as a Director, but as an Adapter (a similar but also distinctly unique skillset) in an industry starved for similarly capable creatives 📖➡️🎭➡️🎞️ (1/2)
The neighborhood is in mourning this week. We lost our intrepid feline friend & mascot. It might not seem like much in the grand scheme of things, but living in a community that was so united in their care for this sweet guy was immensely special. 💙 He's on a new adventure, now.
I just rewatched this episode and it’s some of the best television I’ve seen in a very long time. Patti should absolutely be in the awards conversation.
