@_ImagineMouses @solaportillo The issue here is the governments inability to make a standard system and implement it. And English teachers who should not be teaching the language. There are to many Spaniards with a Masters in English that can’t understand me when I say “what’s up.”

@_ImagineMouses @solaportillo That is because the children only learn palabras sueltas in primaria. Then in 1st grade they learn the same words and not much more. This is the same cycle each year, but then science and subjects become required in English. It makes no sense

@solaportillo @MissLucy2016 I have sent 2 years in Castilla La Mancha and 2 years in Murcia. I am an Amercian so English is my native language. The system in those regions is simply broken and worse, taught by individuals who do not really know the language. Now, I am in Malaga. It’s a little better.

@_ImagineMouses @solaportillo I have been an English teacher(auxiliar) in Spain for 5 years, I have never seen an English class taught completely in English. It is always mostly Spanish with palabras sueltas in English or a few sentences. The kids don’t understand because they are not taught correctly.
