I couldn't disagree more with this post.
From what I've seen, Yorkshire Wildlife Park appears to have done an incredible job today in an almost impossible situation.
If someone chooses to climb into an enclosure with an apex predator, the consequences can be fatal within seconds.
It sounds like the team reacted quickly, with reports of shots being fired. If those were warning shots intended to move the tiger away rather than kill it, that was an extraordinary outcome in such difficult circumstances.
It's absolutely tragic that a man has reportedly lost his life today, but the tiger was simply behaving like a tiger.
An animal shouldn't have to pay with its life because a human decides to enter its enclosure.
I'm incredibly relieved the tiger appears to have survived.
Shambles of a process. A clear error by the ref, as shown by his "He’s all over him facing the wrong way” comment.
It takes one replay to see what actually happened. Pathetically weak from the VAR to just agree with an obvious error.
Arteta quite right to call it out afterwards.
🚨 There are staff members at Manchester United working in backroom roles that spoke freely in Dublin after the game against Leeds about just how much determination is inside the group to get one over Ruben Amorim, more so than Milan [@NathSalt1, @MirrorFootball] #mufc
Harry Kane when it matters:

I can’t believe Djed Spence is starting for England again at a World Cup. Comfortably the worst player we’ve ever taken to a major tournament. Makes Danny Mills look like Cafu.
