@ABridgen As much as I like OFFguardian. This article is biased. It address hectares burned as the primary variable, while ignoring other important variables which are rapidly increasing like number of fires and severity of fires. These are important factors which tell a different story.
@SarahisCensored Oh! “This is the best article I’ve ever read”. ‘“This article will change your life”, “if you do one thing this year read this article”. What a load of nonsense, definitely Not organic ?!
When we seek, it implies that we are missing something. When we seek knowledge, we become the one who doesn’t know, when we seek wealth, we become the one who has none. When we seek love, we become the unloved. When we seek a goal, we become the one who is not where we want to be.
The truth is paradoxical, in seeking nothing, seeking disappears, and we become what we were always looking for. We become love, wealth, the one who knows, everything we dreamed of and more.
I hear you. How does one seek nothing? That is the question. I will talk more about it in time. Nothing can mean many things. There are different ways to access it. Other names for nothing include emptiness, formlessness, present moment, experience itself. When we seek what we already have, and what is unfolding now, then we are satiated. We are no longer thirsty for what isn’t. We are complete.
Your life is like a movie.
A movie has two realities.
The fundamental reality is that of the film crew, directors, actors, the months it takes to film, the writers, the camera crew and machinery etc. This is the truth
We then have the Final Cut movie, made of curated scripted moments, edited cuts, emotional music, carefully produced into a final edit. The movie is the fantasy, and the actual production is the reality.
You are no different.
You have the raw uncut material of your life, that involves all the unedited material, the sleeping, travelling, chilling etc.
You then have the final edit. How you remember it, the edited version of selected memories.
Notice how you edit your own life.
I was listening to this interview with Pavel Durev the other day, the founder of telegram. I was struck by his life philosophy. He doesn’t drink, smoke or do drugs, he doesn’t own a phone, he doesn’t eat sugar. He explains quite rationally and logically why would anyone decide to do any of these things. Instead he likes to do 300 push ups in the morning, and have long sauna’s. He says drinking is fun today, but has long term cost, while press ups are unpleasant today, but have long term benefits. From the age of 8 he was programming, coding and building computer games. He seems to have masted delayed gratification and many stoical principles.
I thought I would look at his natal chart, and as it happens much of the time. I had a holy crap moment. He has mars conjunction Jupiter in Capricorn trine Pluto. I would struggle to imagine a more helpful astrological aspect perfectly designed to master discipline, structure, delayed gratification and long term practical focus.
Mars in Capricorn creates restraint, stamina, personal responsibility, competitive focus, and excellent judgement. It’s not impulsive energy, it’s engineered willpower. Jupiter amplifies whatever it touches, so it will supercharge this competitive Capricorn energy. With the sextile Pluto this provides power, resilience, control & mastery.
Overall it is an insane astrological aspect that gives us a sense of the source of his success & motivation.
