@HancockAnalysis There were also talks of a hotel, event spaces, throw that in, you could have the car park be ground floor with buildings on top or multi story to save ground space where the north stand gets expanded, it’ll cost more overall but it’ll bring in more revenue
@HancockAnalysis From an urban design/money making perspective they need to look at it from a real estate position, they should be acquiring land around Fratton park, which I think the council were pushing. Should be looking to produce mid rises by Rodney road, mixed use with active ground floors
@SiboSnakeEyes@skidstoke@ASaintsOpinion What happens if it turned out they cheated in every game from that Oxford one though? Thats 22 other games. Starting on -70 would be purely hilarious
Spygate took a new turn 😬
🗣️ @mjshrimper on Tonda Eckert’s role in the saga:
“The key evidence was messages between Tonda Eckert and analysts. There appears to have been pushback from the analysts, ‘I’m not sure we should be doing this, I don’t want to do this.’
“Eckert telling them to get on with it, telling them, ‘I hope you come back with better stuff this time, because you didn’t come back with great stuff the previous time.’”
Just when you think you’ve heard the last of it, it gets worse.

@dharvey4 Don’t think he’d go, Redknapp had to relegate them and come back and win an FA cup to win Pompey fans back 😂 (certainly wouldn’t complain if that happened in the next 5 years though)
The EFL has released its sanction reasons for Southampton.
Some of the key findings include:
👉 Southampton lied about footage being obtained
👉 Spying was authorised at senior level
👉 Tonda Eckert was directly involved
👉 Will Salt (the spy) felt pressured into spying
Damning.
@louorns I thought this, kicked out of play offs means they haven’t gotten away with it, -4 points is the punishment and if the spying caused that run of 20ish unbeaten games you’d argue they got off very lightly
@BenPalmer78 You spent half the season cheating in a period you gained 49 points (anything after Oxford), if anything you got off lucky from the EFL, anything else is self inflicted through reputation
An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training.
In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table.
The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. The final remains scheduled for Saturday 23 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed.

@bkwhufc Nah let scum play in the prem if they win but don’t let them see any of the prize money from promotion, additional TV money, nor the parachute payments if they get relegated (not biased I swear)
