My Campaign for Hand Reconstructive Surgery – A Fight for Justice & Recovery.
My name is Tomori For over 10 years, I’ve lived with the lasting impact of a police gunshot injury that damaged my right hand. As a motion graphics designer, creative, and vocal advocate for justice and police accountability, this injury has restricted my ability to create, work, and live fully.
Despite pushing for accountability and damages, I’m now turning to the community to fund life-changing reconstructive surgery. Goal: ₦15,000,000. Your support helps one survivor reclaim their life and continue the work of demanding better systems.
Why this matters: Unresolved cases like mine highlight the need for real police reform and victim support in Nigeria. This isn’t just about me; it’s part of a larger call for justice.

Every share, donation, or kind word counts. If you believe in accountability, second chances, and empowering voices for change, join me.
Updates will be posted here regularly. Thank you for standing with survivors. 💪
I’m raising funds for reconstructive surgery on my right hand so I can regain full use of it and return to the creative work that supports my family.
Without the surgery, I may never fully use my hand again.
Thank you to everyone who has already helped. If you can contribute or share, it moves me closer to working and providing again. Link in bio. 🙏
At 32 I was editing Papa Ajasco and Super Story, trying to become a director.
One night officers who had been drinking shot me through my car. I am 47 now. The hand is dead. I edit with my left hand for $10 and $20 so my children can eat. I won in court.
The police have ignored the judgment since 2015. The officer’s name is in their own report. Ayuba Philip ID 257745.
Please tag em until @TunjiDisu1 & @CspIniedu see this impunity. Thank you

Every morning I wake up next to the hand that used to feed my family.
It barely moves. No tendons. No grip. I was a motion graphics designer. I built a life with these hands. Now I can’t hold a mouse.
Clients left. My marriage cracked. The bills never stopped.
In 2015 a Federal High Court ordered the Nigeria Police to pay for the surgery. Eleven years later, I’m still waiting.
Eight Inspectors-General have come and gone. The judgment is still paper. The damage is still here.
I’m not asking for pity. I’m asking for my hand back.
Donate if you can. Repost if you can’t. Someone in your network might end the wait.

I don’t want to explain this to my kids for the rest of my life. I want to work again. I want to provide again. I want my life back.
