@TRobinsonNewEra That’s right, we do indeed.
I used to dream 💭 about visiting the UK 🇬🇧 and seeing all the sights, maybe 🤔 do some busking around and hitting a few open mic 🎤 spots in pubs and coffee ☕️ shops (if y’all have any), but not so much nowadays.
Anyway, y’all are in my prayers too.
@HealthRanger The Sahara Desert 🐪 could shrink even faster than that with the Cloud Fisher project type technology.
And, faster still, if a portion of the desert heat was used to desalinate water 💦 from the ocean 🌊 and then transported back to land as vapor and then condensed into water.
The obvious agenda driven “media” can only be propaganda. The “news” media is “just the facts” without any spin, and it has been for all intents and purposes extinguished nowadays.
It’s what Marxist do.
First amendment means, freedom of expression, and freedom to speak freely. This conflicts with techno fascists Marxism, which has to cloak itself in lies and propaganda.
The first amendment is the right to speak freely about the truth without fear. It’s not a “granted right”, it’s a prohibition against the government infringing on the right. Whether it’s penned 🖊️ or not is irrelevant, because it’s a God given right to speak truth to power. And, if it is not true then it’s just propaganda. It’s agenda driven deceit. Kinda pathetic, and it’s got no place in a republic that is supposed to be based on the intelligence of an informed citizen democracy. There should be standards for journalists to follow and uphold. But, as they lose credibility and relevance, whatever purpose they serve becomes moot.
Oh well.
I suppose it isn’t that much different than what it was like watching Cronkite covering the Vietnamese War on the 📺 tube during dinner 🍽️ in the early 1970s. But, it was more accepted by the masses as the truth, back then.
It’s only for homestead owners who are full time residents. The folks who have tourist properties are still going to be assessed property taxes for their properties if they have a homestead property in another state.
Anyway, it’s going to appear as a line item on the midterms ballot, and it’s likely to get approval. The loins share of taxes in Florida, are being paid by visitors, via sales taxes, hotel 🏨 taxes, etc.
@DonnieDetroit19 If it’s being mismanaged (like the Midland nuclear power plant debacle) it isn’t going to matter how many rate hikes they have done, it’ll still fail.
That’s why the city of Orlando, has its own utility companies that provide electricity ⚡️ and water 💦. They own it all, too.
Since the 1980s, the Sahara has shrunk by roughly 8%. Satellite data show widespread greening, a pattern that is playing out across the planet.
Around 50% of Earth's vegetated land has become significantly greener, an area roughly three times the size of the United States.
The dominant driver is not rainfall or land use change, it is rising atmospheric CO2.
Higher CO2 lets plants photosynthesize more efficiently, they lose less water, they tolerate heat and dryness better.
The effect is strongest along desert margins, across the Sahel, the Middle East, Australia's interior and the southern edge of the Sahara.
Rising CO2 is making the deserts, and the planet as a whole, greener.
@DonnieDetroit19@JohnSellek It’s ironic that I always see the Florida ads, and I live here.
It’s nice to know that people in the other states have equally ridiculous tourism departments.
@elonmusk Everyone in the bodycam video is complicit, and should be arrested and prosecuted, including the police officer wearing the bodycam.
At the minimum it’s negligence. But, it should be a litany of charges against the perpetrators who didn’t even admit they stabbed the victim.
@MiStormChasers Happens every summer, pretty much.
It’s common for June, and July. It’s usually something that finishes up in mid August when the hurricane season heads toward the September peak season.
@TheFigen_ If they wish to. They do.
That’s what John and Yoko’s “Bagism” was about. It’s “in the bag 💼 “ for those who want it. The war is over.
Funny how that rattles the minds of “the establishment” so much. Funny peculiar, not funny hahaha.
