Can’t blame any player that chooses to move on in January. We’ve been told that player sales are likely so got to brace ourselves.

This team has given everything for Reading over the last 18 months despite so many setbacks. A young, ambitious and talented group that joined on the promise that the club’s off-field issues were about to be resolved. They were lied to just like us. It would be great if they could stay and progress their careers with Reading but we can’t progress as a club in this state.

Rubén would’ve been a huge reason for players to stay. A manager they loved and really improved them as individuals. Hopefully they can see that in Noel Hunt now.

Such a shame we might lose some of this squad.
