@Blades60Martyn@sufc_fab SCR limits how much investment owners can actually put in, and to me sounds like their current main priority is to clear as much debt as possible to avoid racking up mountains of interest. That’s just my take on it
@Afoxich@RyanGoodo@Dem_Blades3@owlsmadmorris Can’t do what again??? It’s a consortium, they’re bringing new investors in for that specific reason. No one knows what the deal is with the unpaid debts, but that’s not a debt owed by Sheffield United. You don’t know how businesses work do you mate
@Afoxich Your evidence is your own comment from a year ago, where someone is laughing at you??? The owners even came out and said the Ai shit was a mistake and have brought in actual credible data suppliers now. So that’s invalid
@Afoxich@RyanGoodo@Dem_Blades3@owlsmadmorris You have to remember we have lost parachute payments, and SCR has just been put in place, so we’ve had to stabilise financially, which as far as anyone can see they have done even if it meant some players had to go.
@Afoxich@RyanGoodo@Dem_Blades3@owlsmadmorris From our perspective, they went all in in the hopes of getting promotion, we fell in the last 10 mins. Instead of panicking and throwing all of the clubs money at players to try and go up, they’ve gone the sensible route and balanced books, invested in infrastructure, clear debts
@Dem_Blades3@RyanGoodo@Afoxich@owlsmadmorris The debt is commercial, meaning it’s not Sheffield Uniteds debt, so there’s a 0% chance we get any sporting sanctions. The worst that can happen if EFL force the board to resign, which isn’t even a bad thing
