@kamakeg Definitely need this. Results from last year with half classes and still high CO2 levels at my kid’s school are concerning. Issue with covert tests though will be getting GNB to acknowledge and act, esp. since action on own their results was poor.

@kamakeg So focused now on short term, but keeping kids home, cancelling sports leads to more sedentary + screen time. Long term impact will be ⬇️ lifetime physical activity, ⬆️ health issues. If I can work out at a gym with 100s others, kids should be active in a bubble with teammates

@DominicCardy @kamakeg @DominicCardy please confirm that these are not the same advisors who have incorrectly suggested that HEPA filters increase spread by increasing air movement or who conducted CO2 testing with questionable methods. The science is clear and known/followed elsewhere already.

@DominicCardy @kamakeg Under the new plan to treat as endemic, the only real next step is passive fixes: improve ventilation and add HEPA filters to classrooms. Masking kids and home learning aren’t viable long term and vaccinations alone won’t work better with kids than they have with adults.
