@dieworkwear i can walk five minutes in a couple of directions and be in a small community area with a pub, a shop and some takeaways. If i walk for 15 minutes i arrive at a super market, half an hour gets me to the centre of town. the concept of not being able to do that blows my mind

Mad story from the end of the transfer window.

Ernest Nuamah, a 20-year-old winger at Lyon was set to sign for Fulham but was in “floods of tears” during his medical because he didn’t want to leave the French club and felt he was being forced out against his will.

He started undergoing his medical but fled and vanished before the final stage could be completed, with no one, not even his agent able to locate him, meaning the move had to be abandoned altogether. That left Lyon owner John Textor penning a formal apology to Fulham over the way things had gone.
