In the Gospel of Wealth, Andrew Carnegie claimed that he could allocate money for the betterment of society better than Congress.
Congress can’t even figure out how to allocate money for essential government operations.
I think Carnegie had a point.

The president’s inaugural address sounded a bit more like a State of the Union address than an inaugural address — much more concerned with communicating policy goals for today than the speech living on for posterity.
