Nearly 2 months of silence seems unreasonably cruel as someone who has lost 3 family members to this scandal

That wording makes it clear they are prioritising one group over another and not following the recommendations of having three prioritised lists to work through in parallel. Particularly as they have said it will be a tiny group initially for each cohort at the start

The report said the 3 groups should be run in parallel with prioritisation in each, not open them sequentially and prioritise one over another. You decided to open the groups in the arbitrary order listed in the report 🤦‍♂️

@TheLucasLawless @IBCA_UK @IBCA_CEO_UK @bloodinquiry The call handler said they think it’s because they need to open them initially one at a time, but will quickly open them all, but if so, why not communicate this. As it stands it looks like they either don’t understand the report or are wilfully and hurtfully disregarding it.

They’re getting hammered because they’ve disregarded the parallel part and decided to open them sequentially in the arbitrary order listed in the report!

You can’t argue things shouldn’t be transparent and families of loved ones that paid the ultimate price shouldn’t be kept up to date with timelines given we’ve been told one cohort doesn’t need to be complete.

@IBCA_UK Thank you but more transparency as per inquiry is right and proper. Do you have a team working on estate processes. Are you waiting for this team to finish. Have you stopped whilst you work out priority order. Do you still intend to start more groups before the first is complete

@IBCA_UK Whoever manages this account, please ask your comms manager to give us a transparent statement about estates. It shouldn’t be hard to say we’re doing xyz, we’ll give you a timeline in this month, we estimate a beta in this month, and estimate opening in this month. Transparency

@IBCA_UK In your May 14th update, you said you had 107 claims managers and would be adding 80 per month from end June. By August you should have 267 managers. Surely you can commit to opening to estate from September? If every manager has 10 claims at a time, that's 2670 claims at once.

@HaemoSocUK_PI Watching the stream it’s clear there’s so many incentives to go slow for the gov and ibca employees. Affected die, pay less, infected die, partners get less, estate beneficiary dies, reclaim IHT, drag it out, government earn more interest, drag it out, keep my ibca job longer.
