Starting Monday, May 24, masks will no longer be required at city of Mesa facilities, including libraries. The move came days after the CDC revised its COVID-19 mitigation policies, stating those who are vaccinated no longer have to wear masks indoors or outdoors.

Four children suffered “moderate to serious injuries” when a bounce house was lifted by wind Thursday afternoon. Fire department crews treated the four kids and took them to a hospital. The bounce house was part of a graduation party near Brown and Val Vista in central Mesa.
