@harrym_vids Sorry to hear. The roads across the UK and the south east esp. are so bad. Bucks Council tell me the funding methodology favours less populated parts of the UK but each time it is debated they are outvoted by the councils that benefit. Maybe a vid on the road mess we are in?

@julianHjessop You're probably right but there needs to a review of how to plug the gap of lost duty as drivers switch from petrol/ diesel to EVs. The free lunch to EV drivers seems overly generous.

@EdConwaySky Another downside is that the impact of higher rates does not affect consumers as broadly as before. On average it might be OK but individually huge variances depending on fix/float borrowers and rate renewal date.

A corridor in one of evacuation trains in #Ukraine from Poltava to Lviv. 17 hours on a train with all windows closed so that no light escapes and the train doesn’t become a target.

In Kharkiv, many are even forced to leave their suitcases and pets on the platform.

@andrewjchapple Really notice this on the motorways. Am convinced lane discipline and general driving standards have deteriorated as no one expects to be spotted by a traffic officer nowadays.
