@johnharoldpinte The BBC have to do this because the news and regional news programmes can’t go out on BBC2. It hasn’t the capacity nationally. BBC1 is its most popular channel, and viewers expect live sport to be mainly on there. That’s why it can’t just use non stop BBC2.
