big thx to hobart and anna dorn for getting these poems out into the world. i've never had a lake in my home irl. i had a mushroom growing out of my shower once though.
@SandmanSimonds I’ve been trying to for years but hardly anyone bites. Over the last seven/eight years, most of the funnies became unfunny, died, or stopped publishing.

New piece up at @SequestrumLit. This is the focal point of the manuscript I'm shopping. Thanks to Ralph Cooper for giving it a home <3
Do random checks on your works to see if others have also pub'd it under their own names. Our fave serial plagiarist showed up this morning. So far, the piece has only been pub'd under the original writer (who was notified by me), but give it time.
i’m a weirdo who likes reading a v specific type of poetry, so i think it would be unfair for me to weigh in on the ocean debate
but it’s unsettling to see how quickly ppl have turned on him. also, why all this aggro energy on one writer?
as a writer, liking what i like & disliking what I dislike & not putting the latter all over the internet has done wonders for my emotional wellbeing, js
is being a national poet during national poetry month kind of like being the turkey on thanksgiving, Santa Claus on Christmas, Cupid on Valentine’s Day???
i see the lit mag publishing convo happening rn forking, one side saying publish a million pieces anywhere you like, the other, hoard work and only publish in the fanciest journals. for me a strategy that sits between these works really nicely.
