@Stewart09322559 For a start, if it’s classed as a scoring part for offside, then don’t also say it’s a handball offence ?
Tbh I’ve always been in favour of drawing from the feet. Does give attacker advantage but it doesn’t sit right drawing lines from armpits when their feet are onside.
As shambolic as we were, potentially the worst 45 minutes of the season, to be chalked off a 4-3 winner for an ARM and then a handball is a joke. This isn’t football anymore 😑

@logicalclaret@PhilBirdBFC He must have size 11 kids feet 😅😅 it does stop suspiciously short of where you’d expect.
Definitely too much ambiguity on what frame they use and where the foot ends, etc.
Shame for ref/lino to have been cross examined so much for making calls that no one would begrudge
@DrivebyThe Do agree, you have to draw the line somewhere…
I think the tough part is not every offside I’ve seen to show a ‘scoring part of the body’ have then been given the grace in other games with ‘handball’ should it hit that part of the arm.
An eventful afternoon 🤣🤣
@jDevey The standard of proof is ‘balance of probability’. That’s all FA disciplinary cases.
There wasn’t a possibility for ‘guilty beyond reasonable doubt’, that would be a criminal court case.
Suarez v Evra was exactly the same for example.
Odd statement. Why are they acting like ‘beyond reasonable doubt’ was an option? 🤔 Was always going to be balance of probability ‘for’ or ‘against’…
It wasn’t a criminal case, it was an FA disciplinary #twitterclarets
We are extremely disappointed at the decision made by an independent regulatory commission to sanction Milutin Osmajić and impose a nine-match suspension, following an incident which took place in a league fixture against Burnley on 15th February 2025.
We note that the outcome was determined on the 'Balance of Probabilities' rather than one that is 'Beyond Reasonable Doubt'.
We also note that The FA determined that this decision offers no moral judgement, was not premeditated nor any comment about his general character.
Milutin has always pleaded his innocence of the charge and continues to do so. We continue to be fully supportive of our player.
We are proud of our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion policies and practices, and we reaffirm our opposition to all forms of discrimination.
