One of the major challenges facing businesses and content creators in Nigeria is the persistent issue of unreliable electricity and poor internet connectivity
It is disappointing that a country often referred to as the “Giant of Africa” still struggles to provide 24-hour electricity to its citizens. At this point, it is a national concern that requires urgent attention.
I urge the Federal Government and all stakeholders responsible for these sectors to do better. Nigerians are not asking for too much—we simply need steady electricity, good roads, and adequate security. These are basic necessities that every functioning country should be able to provide.
As an aspiring content creator, I have been waiting since this morning for power to be restored so I can shoot videos for my content. Situations like this are frustrating, demoralizing, and hinder productivity.
Nigeria can do better. We have the potential to be greater than this, but it starts with providing the basic infrastructure that citizens need to thrive.
