Quick Guide to @Ableton Corpus
⬇️
Corpus simulates the characteristics of 7 different resonant objects. It’s included as part of Ableton Live Suite and was developed in collaboration with AAS.
Next to the list of types you can choose the sound quality of the resonator (the higher the quality the more CPU intensive it will be).
Adjust the frequency using the Tune knob. Change length and character with the Decay and Material parameters.

@A_OTTO53 Yeah, I get you! If you’ve got a solid workflow with your current tools then there is no urgency (until maybe a crazy good offer comes along 👀)
Here’s a tip for creating unique kick drum samples:
- Layer the initial kick with a hi-hat/shaker/white noise sample (or anything with high-end bite)
- This adds to the attack/transient of the sound and helps it cut through the mix
- Glue together with some soft clipping
@_dominionbeats@Ableton The cloud integration is what is tempting me to give it a go! Always wanted an app where your ideas/demos could be easily transferred to the DAW. Think I’ll take the plunge!
Can you imagine a producer themed Monopoly board?
- Do not pass go, do not collect streaming royalties
- Your cracked plugins stop working, pay 500 for licenses
What else would it include? 👀
