@shirtsbyflower Flower, I'm so proud of you and the courage you have to tell your story. You are AUsome and want the world to know it; I'm honored to be along with you on the journey. TT loves you! Every child. Every Teacher. Every Leader. Every Day. #RISDWeAreOne#RISDBelieves
One day at Berkner Bazaar led to this event! Thank you Shereen El-Domeiri and Lara Dodd-Tello for speaking with and pouring into Flower's spirit. She is excited and looking forward to help communicate the messages. #InclusionMatters#AcceptanceMatters@risdsagepta @RISD_Equity
Voting is always a serious matter. Propositions, school board seats, midterms; we show up for them all! Thank you grandfather for paving the way for us.
@GirlsIncDallas Thank you for providing an opportunity for our girls to grow with the day of empowerment. It was truly what WE needed! Sometimes as adults we also need reminders to not dim the lights of others nor let our lights be dimmed. It was an amazing, fulfilling day!
So proud of our 6th grade girls from Forestridge Elementary, along with a few amazing students from Liberty Middle School, who attended Unapologetic with Girls Inc. " I don't shrink, I show up!"
They left with confidence and pride in themselves! #risddreambig#GirlsInc
Dear Santa,
We love our roadrunners we truly do, but
All wewant for Christmas is for the students to stop saying “6–7.” Our 6th grade Math teacher @tonidjackson has sent up our request .

For years I’ve encouraged my Ss to dream big! Some write their dreams on paper and put in the box. Others write words of wisdom for those who may have a bad day, and they can go and get a positive message from the box. #RISDDreamBig#RISDBelieves#RISDGreatness
Our students need more recess, unstructured play, Physical Education, all the Arts, and extracurricular activities! That's how they learn to regulate emotions and interact with each other more positively.
Your commitment as a servant leader to your entire school community, boosting student and staff morale yielded remarkable results. Growing from an F to an A rating in one year is quite remarkable. Keep blazing trails, Soror Teri!
@be_a_waymaker At RISD’s Way to Grow, you encouraged us to “Find Power in the Pause.” I got home that afternoon, paused with Reese, then looked at my daily calendar and there it was, reiterating what you said. Message received. Thank you. @IamBranum#DreamBig
2nd Annual Divine Nine Experience! We are so proud of our African American Studies students. Ss researched one of the organizations and presented to our guests. They did an incredible job and had a fantastic time learning from RISD Divine Nine members. #PHSlibrary#mUStangmagic
“Once you belong to Ms. Jackson, you always belong to Ms. Jackson!” From 6th grade in Arizona, to performing on stage in Ft. Worth at 23, Collin remains my “WHY.” He saw me, jumped off stage and stopped the show to explain who I was to the audience. My teacher heart is happy!!!
The Berkner Bazaar never disappoints. While supporting @shirtsbyflower I get to see my old students. This young lady told me that my love for UNT encouraged her and that is where she wants to go. She said she loved my class and science. #RISDBeTheOne#RISDBelieves
My mother fought breast cancer for six years. Although it’s too late for her, I am still hopeful that we will be made aware of a cure and eradicate breast cancer soon. #RISDPinkOut@risdpta
