Tensions are rising in Berlin after a series of pro-Palestine demonstrations on 24th July were met with what many are calling excessive police force.

Protesters and observers say peaceful gatherings have been disrupted with aggressive tactics, including pepper spray, chokeholds, and physical restraint.

Demonstrators reported yesterday that officers advanced into crowds without provocation, targeting individuals -- including minors - for arrest. Some witnesses allege that compliant protesters were till subjected to force while being detained.

One incident that drew widespread attention involved a claim by authorities that an officer had been trampled. However, video footage from the scene appeared to show police initiating a push into a packed crowd, contradicting initial reports.

You say “no one is above the law” — but ICE has spent years operating beneath it.

The Mayor of Newark didn’t “trespass.” He showed up — in his own city — to demand accountability for what’s happening behind closed doors at ICE detention centers: indefinite holds, missing paperwork, denied hearings, and mass deportations without due process.

That’s not enforcement.
That’s abuse.

ICE has overstepped its legal and moral boundaries — and that matters everywhere, including right here in Indiana.
Those responsible must be held accountable — by the people, and in a court of law.

As a congressional candidate, I believe immigration policy must uphold the law and our values — not erase one to justify the other.
Because no agency — not ICE, not Homeland Security — gets to operate outside constitutional limits.

If you believe in justice and oversight, I welcome you to stand with me in calling for the same transparency in Indiana.
