@agitslop_ makes up for the fact their movies are too american. though i'll say the kitsch aspect of their movies reminds me of david lynch's kitsch, just in a different era, with different ways of doing it
@agitslop_ kind of agree. hard to judge with only one film, but it seems they're so much capable of doing with way less, or at least it speaks to me more. but i think in both tv glow and camp miasma, they manage to capture and put things on screen that no one else does, and for me that
@iS2film 1 it's not new 2 it's a porno 3 it's actually a great movie if you get around to watching it you won't believe some of the things you'll see (cinematographically speaking)
@Undue_Risk their best movie yet (big fan of tv glow and camp miasma though) because it is so simple yet so effective in how it depicts isolation. i love when directors are at their most sober and therefore ingenious
