@iHateApplee For the record, once I perform a Reset All Settings on iPadOS 26, everything just started it work without a lot of bugs. I know that may not be everyone’s experience, but it is mine.

@AshleyGullen For the record, iPadOS 26 is a great release. I did have to do a Reset All Settings, but then it has been a great experience.

@AnnStokes55 You can now filter on Unread in iMessages as well. See if that shows what is unread. One other thing I found was some items that would go to the phone only, because I have them connected go to here and they can be way down the list.

@AnnStokes55 I had that problem and it turned out the ones that were unread were in the new Spam filter. When I went to the top, clicked the filter, told it SPAM, there they were.

@MrSujano I completely agree. I work from iPads 95% of the time. Once Safari become desktop class on iPadOS, there is really no reason to stay on the Mac constantly. Yes… there are those things you have to have a Mac for but for the most part, iPad.
