@MAS My Jakarta–Kuala Lumpur Citilink flight was cancelled due to the volcanic eruption, making it impossible for me to reach Kuala Lumpur in time for MH020 on 6 September.
I had already paid 5,383 MYR for a Business Class upgrade on MH020, which I was completely unable to use through no fault of my own.
After my journey was rescheduled to 9 September, I had to pay another 4,620 MYR for a new Business Class upgrade.
So I paid 10,003 MYR in total for two upgrades, while the first upgrade was never used.
I understand that MH020 itself operated as scheduled. However, I am not asking for a refund because your flight was cancelled. I am asking for an exceptional goodwill refund of the 5,383 MYR unused upgrade, following an extraordinary situation caused by a volcanic eruption.
I sincerely hope Malaysia Airlines Customer Relations will reconsider my case and find a fair solution.
Case: CCM-48342869/2026
@MAS I urgently ask you to reconsider case CCM-48342869/2026.
My Jakarta–Kuala Lumpur Citilink flight was cancelled because of the volcanic eruption, making it physically impossible for me to reach Kuala Lumpur and take MH020 to Paris on 6 September.
I had already paid for a Business Class upgrade on MH020, but I could not use it through no fault of my own. I then had to postpone my journey to 9 September and pay AGAIN for a Business Class upgrade on my rescheduled flight.
I therefore paid twice for a Business Class upgrade, while the first one was completely unused.
I understand that MH020 itself operated as scheduled. However, I am not asking for a refund because your flight was cancelled. I am asking Malaysia Airlines to show some consideration for an exceptional situation caused by a volcanic eruption and an involuntary cancellation of my connecting flight.
Refusing any refund means I have paid for a service I could not use, and then had to pay again for the same service on my new flight.
I sincerely ask Malaysia Airlines to escalate this case and provide a full refund of the unused original upgrade as a goodwill gesture.
I hope Malaysia Airlines will reconsider this situation fairly and help resolve it.

@stripe Hello, It’s been over a year since €600 have been blocked on my account without any explanation or valid reason. I’ve received no clear response from support. This is unacceptable from a platform that’s supposed to support entrepreneurs. Please resolve this situation.
