Why are so many books going with shock titles?
LOSER Theology.
TOXIC Empathy.
OFFENSIVE Christianity.
The SIN of Empathy.
It's all over-the-top and desperate.
I'm bummed about how this ended too.
But my goodness, SOCCER was center of attention in this nation for a couple weeks. Watching the US win three games in a home World Cup with my son next to me is now a core memory.
I think Carli is a world champion and one of the biggest legends of the game in our country, full stop.
But I don’t think she can draw from her career as a reference to discuss how a guy with 400+ pro appearances should be handling his body.
Brazil’s yellow.
Croatia’s red and white checkers.
Argentina’s sky blue and white vertical stripes.
Uruguay’s powder blue.
The Netherlands’ orange.
Japan’s samurai blue.
The white and red horizontal stripes should be the USMNT’s permanent home kit going forward. Make it happen @Nike@ussoccer.
People keep saying youth soccer should be free, and Alexi keeps pointing out the obvious: Nothing is free.
Others say, "well not free, but cheaper." Great! Who is defraying the costs?
It's simple ignorance of economics.
@dpshow@KevinFrazier Hey Kev, I’m good, but thanks for your concern. I’ve consistently said I’d love soccer to be free. But who should pay for free soccer? Also, do you think those who work in youth soccer are greedy and should make less money? If so, why? Hope you’re well and I respect your passion.
7 matches. 12 goals. 1 trophy. 🏆🇮🇹
From Pirlo’s magical strike to Del Piero’s iconic finish against Germany and Grosso’s winning penalty.
The goals that made Italy World Champions! 🍿🔥
The US is an anamoly in history in that we have an abundance of say in our political process. I think we have a responsibility and *should* be involved at *some* level.
However, Blake is 100% right.
Not only does a Christian not have to be interested in politics, someone can have absolutely no clue whatsoever about how their government functions, beyond the everyday laws they have to abide by, and yet be a phenomenal Christian.
@AmFootballin Personal favorite? McKenzie. I honestly loved how he led the team in prayer after the game, win or lose.
As far as favorite in terms of on the field: Probably Tillman, though Balogun and McKennie played extremely well. Berhalter's grit as well, of course.
