me and @aswinps_ft growing up have seen how nris bring prosperity to our households and still struggle to grow their own money.

nris send $135B home every year(~3% of indian gdp). and still, opening an account means a branch visit, and investing means couriering documents, or an agent mis-selling a ulip.

we're building the full financial stack for nris. today, it starts with investing in indian asset classes and global markets, fully online, with an advisor you can talk to.

aswin is a finfluencer with 0.5M followers and 5M monthly impressions. so we didn't start with a product. we took a subset of his audience, put them in a WhatsApp group, and did things that don't scale. here's what we learned : 🧵
