Need to speak up about this because it makes absolutely zero sense to me.

On Week 1 of , the UFC signed four new fighters, with Bilal Hasan and Anthony Wint both coming out of fairly one-sided fights and both wanting to turn around quickly. The UFC obliged by booking them.

The problem? In both cases, they signed fighters from outside the UFC to face their brand-new UFC fighters.

In other words, after winning their DWCS fight, Hasan and Wint essentially get another DWCS-level fight, except this time it's inside the UFC.

It makes no sense.

If you want to properly test these fighters, have the matchmakers book genuinely tough fights on DWCS instead of the lopsided matchups we've seen this year.

Dana always says DWCS is the "hardest job interview on Earth." So why, when you win that job interview in flying colors, does your UFC debut come against someone from outside the UFC?

It devalues the DWCS product AND the idea of what "UFC-level" is supposed to mean.

Shitty all around.

Maybe they should have booked Bilal Hasan vs. Rojas and Anthony Wint vs. Chatman on DWCS instead. That's how I see it.

And just to be clear: absolutely no disrespect to the fighters. They're taking the opportunities the UFC is giving them. The issue is with the matchmaking, not the fighters.
