STEPS OF HOW COUNTRIES MOVE FROM 3rd WORLD TO 1st WORLD: KENYA CAN DO IT.

Stage 1: Food Self-Sufficiency & surplus for export. And the exported surplus is both raw & processed.

Stage 2: Development of cottage industry: These include manufacture of Italian grade cutlery, pottery, bags, furniture et al

Stage 3: Development of light industry: These includes manufacture of Japan grade bicycles, radios, motor bikes et al

Stage 4: Development of Heavy industry: manufacture of vehicles, tractors etc al

To catalyze above stages, investment has to be put in excellent school system from Kindergarten to University with emphasis on technical colleges. Hospitals & housing is left to private sector. ICT is private sector & enabler to all above processes.

THE PRIMARY ROLE OF GOVERNMENT IS TO CREATE AN ENABLING ENVIRONMENT INCLUDING ENDING CORRUPTION & BUREAUCRACY!
