@elonmusk Um, no. 1m people want a change in government and so signed a petition. Probably because all of them voted for a party that didn’t win. Nearly 10m people voted Labour so Labour get to rule for a bit. That’s how democracy works.
Countries are ruled by elections not petitions.

'Ulster American' at @RiversideLondon really is as good as it gets.
With sensational writing and incredible performances by @WoodyHarrelson@andyserkis & @louisa_harland, this is a late contender for the best play of the year.
Here's my ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review:

Saw this last night - Anoushka is a rare talent, with a voice that feels like you’ve dived into a crystal clear lake on a hot day…. And how lovely is @bushtheatre? An amazing, friendly, inclusive space.
Go see ‘Elephant’ if you can!
It’s been an unusual and difficult year - how brilliant that we’re able to announce this and remember why we do what we do….going to be a busy and interesting December!

So @laurenlaverne is gamely trying to present the @MercuryPrize battling the most dire script ever. She’s been handed a word salad and been told to chew it up and spit it out. Meaningless hype, press releasey, incoherent, long sentences, terrible writing.
Great evening @SouthFacingFest last night…great venue, music and food. But those bar staff are robbing the venue blind with “discounts for cash” that then disappears into their pockets. I’m sure they’re not earning tons but crime is crime…
Quite rare for me to be sharing content from @DailyMailUK , but since this is all going on underneath my office balcony and my place of work is surrounded by police cars (fake), officers (fake) and drones (real), I couldn't not... https://t.co/HKq88noMy1
story getting a byline and reporting on herself is ill-advised. It gives detractors ammunition to shoot the messenger. @KarynMaughan is a great, brave journo and I'm sure her involvement in reporting was the subject of a lot of debate. I would have gone the other way, personally.
So I'm a big fan of @AdriaanBasson and @News24 and think the work they, and others like @dailymaverick, have done in exposing corruption and keeping a level head while reporting on multiple crises is extraordinary. But. I think having a journalist who is at the centre of the
Talking to the lovely @MichConstant on @SAfmRadio 7-8am SA time today…..about theatre, London, And South African theatre in London and especially this gem. Listen in if you can.

Many thanks to @LionHeartfelt for chatting to our Exec Director @tonylank on @BBCRadioLondon last night about the arts, poetry, storytelling and Rallying for Riverside! If you missed it you can catch it here… https://t.co/UtPbe59nSX
Well whadya know.
Trying to stay awake at Doha airport at 3am, catching up with @thememorypalace (one of the finest podcasts. Yes, you really should) As Nate tells me to imagine I’m the king of Spain tasting pineapple for the first time, I see these on sale. Funny old world.
Saw this show in Birmingham last year….reminded me that @timminchin is a bona fide genius. Come along and see it on @RiversideLondon’s big screen in a couple of weeks.
Filmed live at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire with an 8-person band, Tim Minchin’s BACK is a comedy and music extravaganza that critics have called “Spectacular” (The Times) and a “Roof-raising return” (Sunday Telegraph).
One screening only: 23 November

Well that was rather nice of them. Thanks to my alma mater @Rhodes_JMS for naming me one of their Top50 alumni. Only realized how significant it was when I saw the full list. Feel like a non-journalist interloper but, hey, I’ll take it. https://t.co/GkSwF3axTY
