@DeRushaJ @fantailmedia In Minnesota in 1980 min wage was $3.10. I started my first part time job at Target then at $3.15. After the 90 day review they bump you up to $3.30. It took maybe 4 years of annual raises to reach $5.25.

@jessesingal Can't speak for Getty specifically but historically the split with syndication agencies was 50/50. However web only usage fees have dropped dramatically and photographers' portion can be < $1 on some. Getty even had an option for 1 year web use for $0.

@EsotericCD I know the re-recorded vocals tank that box set for lots of fans but there aren't many on it that honestly aren't improvements over the original live versions. And every live recording on it sounds phenomenal.

@NateSilver538 Thanks for saying this. Infections in relation to the # of exposures would seem to be an important stat. I know my contacts & exposures prob went up 10x in '21 and another 10x in '22. if infection #s stay flat while exposures increase by orders of magnitude, that means something
