@Cadeyrnn So, doing the math on this, assuming Edmonton MA and Calgary MA are roughly 1/3 pop each,that would mean the UCP has a 44 point lead outside Edm and Cal, in order to give topline 7-point lead. Which would be like 72:28 UCP:NDP. This poll is weird.

@Cadeyrnn @liuxi80689349 Doesn't their topline show 50% UCP though? I'm so confused how their crosstabs can be so favorable go NDP in Edmonton AND Calgary but still show a 7-point deficit provincewide. Also, their sample is 50% 65+ and nearly 2/3 Calgary. They weighted, but still.

@ThisAmerLife Loved use of @yanntiersen Amélie song in this story. One of the first films my wife and I fell in love with together shortly after we met 22 years ago. b/c of it, went to Montmartre together in 2005. Relived the magic this summer, this time w our 3 kids. Song makes me tear up.

@Lawn_Dad @WestJet Said they could get us to LHR the next day...THROUGH SEATTLE. Got hotel and food vouchers for the night. Went to SEA next day, only 1 hr layover. BARELY made the flight, but Delta was awesome and knew we were coming so waited.Only upside is WJ eventually compensated us $1k ea 3/3

@Lawn_Dad @WestJet Got to gate with 12 minutes to spare. Were told gate was closed. Flight data the next day showed plane did not leave gate for another 23 minutes. Had no checked bags, just carry on. Told next flight would be 48 hours later. Called @WestJet, told them that was unacceptable. 2/n

@KikkiPlanet YEG LRT: 18 stations on 2 lines and 24 km of track; 114,000 daily riders. Lille LRT: 60 stations on 2 lines and 45 km of track; 260,000 daily riders. They also have a tram system with 45 stops and around 60 bus routes. Also, everything is seamlessly digital. No paper tickets.

@KikkiPlanet We spent a couple days in Lille, France this summer. Yes, often, European comparisons are poor. But in this case, I think it's fair. Lille metro is 1.1 million with an area around 650km2. YEG urban a little over 1 million, 625km2. Their transit system puts YEG's to shame.

And I'm a health professional who literally published evidence reviews for COVID vaccines and spoke out in support of public health measures the entire pandemic. Go troll somewhere else.
