Legal argumentation is actually just post hoc rationalization of political priorities. Politics governs us, not legal logic. People praise written opinions on the basis of whether it justifies their political vision. Hobbes and Schmitt understood this.
The proper thing to do is have a 100% conversion of Muslims to Christianity so that when they are sent back home they can be missionaries.
A Christian Middle East.
The modern historian Jack Rakove explains this quite well:
“When Jefferson wrote “all men are created equal” in the preamble to the Declaration, he was not talking about individual equality. What he really meant was that the American colonists, as a people, had the same rights of self-government as other peoples, and hence could declare independence, create new governments and assume their “separate and equal station” among other nations. But after the Revolution succeeded, Americans began reading that famous phrase another way. It now became a statement of individual equality that everyone and every member of a deprived group could claim for himself or herself. With each passing generation, our notion of who that statement covers has expanded.”
It is absolutely vital that we rethink the prevailing model of the Declaration. It is a constant trump card used to facilitate the liquidation of our heritage and our identity as a people. Even though it has no legal bearing at all, nobody’s allowed to interpret America except as a zone for individuals to do whatever they want. The eradication of our way of life and the recovery of our nation is built on this absurd Propositionalism.

When you consider that guys like Bill Kristol essentially had a monopoly on the Right for 30 years, it all starts to make sense why we find ourselves in the current situation we’re in.
For the past generation, we haven’t been fighting with one hand behind our back. We’ve been fighting with both hands around our own neck, wringing it until we passed out.
Those days are over.
After yesterday’s debate in the MN Senate, i’m reminded of how completely retarded I used to be (I still am too) I used to think that if I just explained things well, with logic & just the right word!, people would change their mind. The only thing that matters: winning & power.
"...who, though separated by an ocean, and under different governments, have the same language, a similar religion, and kindred blood.” - John Adams to King George III, June 1, 1785
The WHCA alleged shooter wasn’t some nut job lurking on the fringes of society, forgotten by the system.
He was well-educated, credentialed, employed, and institutionally formed. That’s what makes this so disturbing.
At first glance, this doesn’t look like a breakdown of the system, it looks more like a product of it.
Academia, media, and politics helped build the moral permission structure.
Let that sink in.
One easy heuristic to determine whether someone is a viable political ally or not is how they reacted to the rescue mission of that downed American pilot inside Iran.
You can have whatever opinion on this war that you want, but if you are openly cheering for the IRGC or Iranian military to capture or kill American servicemembers, you are indistinguishable from Leftists who hate my country and I will be treating you no differently than them.
No, I will not in fact be rooting for the deaths of my own countrymen.
