@noOnesayinit@NoContextBrits The wave extends far above the carman line and could swallow the iss which is barely possible considering the volume of water is surprisingly small. For water to cover the entirety of Europe and feed such a huge wave there would need to be way more water than we have.
@Antiworkship@ATRightMovies I swear to god succession is just the laziest writing ever. They took arrested development and made it „serious“ and made no effort whatsoever and no one notices.
@esjesjesj You idiot, the cost of loot will be afforded by you. Loss from uncivilized theft is added to the price. Sitting on your high castle of affluence you don’t give a fuck as long as you can pretend to care, while for some the price bump is painful or makes those products unaffordable
@theDustyLandis@dbenner83@DouglasKMurray@ComicDaveSmith No he did not. When claims were made of Gaza being a concentration camp and on economic state before October 7th he asked if he had been there. It was a valid ask because the statement is bullshit considering the fact on the ground. GDP per capita in 2022 was similar to Egypt.
@aimtomisb3hav3@abbythelibb_ I think his point was that uninformed opinion heads have been platformed en large while experts where not even a factor. It is odd that someone is involved so deep and did not make the effort to visit the subject matter. Like a nba talking head that never attended a game.
@TheTree@ChrisDJackson The outlook is to get a vehicle that cuts cost of payload to space by 100x compared to the cheapest alternative. He can trash 100 rockets if it achieves a working reusable technology. Falcon brought cost down from 10k $ to below 2k$ per kg and the target for starship is 20$!!!
@Waiting4_HIM@Tom_Rowsell I think you are overthinking. It’s acting. The play caters to the culture of the interpreters not the originators. Heston played Moses and Ben hur, Kirk played Spartacus and none looked like the characters should based on history or narration.
@MixtrixFix@LibertyCappy If the servicing part is outsourced to me and not part of the goods and services I acquire buying from the menu, can I bring my butler and avoid paying for service?
@Eurofedmonarch This is so unthankful. The first second the US, that provided a costly and selfless umbrella of security for almost a century, asks Europe to act as partners on eye level and share the efforts within the security alliance, Europe bails out. Disgusting!
@Cat284894445614@yaelbt That is bullshit. A combatant is only such if he is in active combat. Also Hammas killed and abducted children. By your logic all Palestinian children are combatants because some children have committed acts of terror, making them valid targets. Make your point without lying.
@basilthegreat They did not. This map does only represent the party with the highest share of votes, not majorities won. AfD secured between 30-38% of the vote there. More than 60% voted for other parties.
@AndyBell_LD @CatallaxySpirit @realDonaldTrump That is not exactly how it works in Europe. The vat is applied to every selling event and offset against vat collected with the last buyer. E.g. I buy product at 100. Then I sell at 200 so I owe 38 vat - the 19 paid earlier. Since there is no vat in the us it doesn’t matter.
@Randy7Jones@realDonaldTrump But German products get the same vat. Vat is a consumer tax not a product tax and it impacts all products sold equally. VAT or sales tax also apply in some us states and impact German products with an equal level as us products.
@0x49fa98 This is a misconstruction of law. There are no hate speech laws in Germany. However distributing a lie about someone is libel. And if you do it on a public forum then of course the fine is higher as the audience is bigger. You have the same laws in the us. See Sandman vs. cnn.
@CynicalPublius Angela Merkel grew up in the GDR, a dictatorship were everyone was dirt poor. Her predecessor Gerd Schröder has a pretty similar upbringing to Vance. Grew up to a single mother in severe poverty to become a lawyer, later politician and leader of Germany.
@Emanuel29402387@PlixoSgp@elonmusk Russias capacity for havoc limited by incompetence had 10k civ. deaths in 3 months. Later trench warfare reduced the rate but led to 4.5M displaced to EU. Chechnyas insurgent warfare had 200k civ. deaths (13% of pop) better shows their regard for civilians vs. achieving victory.
@PlixoSgp@Meowmeowz3@elonmusk Govt creates artificial demand consumers don’t have, prints money handed to contractors and politicians that pocket what they get away with. Deficit grows and income is diluted. In these scenarios e.g. Iraq only special interest profits but economies and nations pay the price.
