Aaaaaand it was mass reported and flagged to be ignored. What a truly embarrassing day for the WoW community. A well reasoned, calm, and respectful critique of game systems was just mass flagged because a group disagreed with the message.
Disgusting.
We have a message concerning the biggest problem of the upcoming wow expansion - covenants. Please share and support it if you agree with what's written there. It's not yet too late.

@Suplift@LimitThdlock it would be great! Love grinding renown and doing things that I have already done again and again. I'm glad blizz do not listen to hardcore nerds who don't know how to make games good.
The thing I don't think the wow devs understand is that when faced with this covenant choice, players aren't going to be thinking about how awesome that covenant they're joining is; they're going to be worrying about what they're missing out on with the other 3.
3) Save everyone:
a) Casual players from getting "right" choices (lf2m for M+15, no Nightfae allowed)
b) Hardcore players from "forgot to do daily stuff on my 4th mage"
c) Yourself from PR nightmare from influencers being mad about same mistakes all over again
@WarcraftDevs Ty!🥰
You guys have a noble goal, but it's hardly achievable. Over the past expansions we've got knowledge that these things can't be balanced properly. It gives us nothing but dissatisfaction when we see that someone performs better only because he made a "better" choice.
@WatcherDev Ion, you can't fight meta, and you can't make covenants be within 2% efficiency difference, because they just do different things. And you can't force pugs to not pay attention on covenants. You just don't leave players an option to make a change to not get rejected
Ultimately this interview feels good because preach is saying how we all feel and not holding back which is refreshing to see but ion is playing his rogue alt atm and none of it is hitting. Nothing is changing unfortunately just gotta find a way to live with it.
@Torty_healing Maybe, but they will never change their vision entirely. Making covenants swappable is still possible, making the entire new concept of the expansion is barely possible.
@Torty_healing Well, I wouldn't say covenants is a disastrous system for everyone. There are many people who do not like simplifications like "just add a new talent row lol". I think it definitely has some issues, but the cornerstone of the problem is that you are bound to your choice.
@Torty_healing Why not? You can make the separate system where you can use powers of other covenants without leaving your own.
It can be very easily fixed.
@Suplift Does Sigma still play priest? Or who is responsible for healers now? It could be the legit answer. You never wanna care much about the class which is not interesting to you🙃
@Asmongold@WatcherDev
I did the same poll and 51% vote for the covenant which has the highest efficiency. There is no way you can avoid dissatisfaction with this system. People who chose "raid covenant" won't be happy to feel that their choice is just wrong in mythic+ or PvP.
I genuine feel bad about @Methodsco you can blame him and the others for believing Josh and being naive to a fault but at the end of the day the man lost everything he worked for all these years. I hope he manages to bounce back wish you the best Sco.
