@xonebros Underfunded? Doesn't Gears have $400m budget? A franchise that has struggled to gain new players for 15 years.
And cut spending? what yields returns is spending on new IP's as well as old ones.
And exclusives doesn't mean much when there isn't enough hardware sold๐คทโโ๏ธ
@shinobi602 I get Compulsion Games... but to fuck up with Ninja Theory, Double Fine and potentially Arkane?
Seriously fuck Xbox "leadership" if that is true.
@HighNGamingNews@_Tom_Henderson_ I'm confused and I've seen all of it๐คทโโ๏ธ
It's not what they are saying, it's that multiple execs within Xbox talk about the same things, but say, at times, completely different things.
@pixelelatedG@digitalfoundry He speaks the truth.
Clockwork Revolution is not a system seller and Gears is not what it used to be on the 360. Maybe E-Day can bring in new players, but most likely it the same players that has stuck around since the 360 returning for another Gears game.
@oliver_drk When?
If is the right word.
Idk how Xbox is doing in America, but in the rest of the world... not so great.
What they need to grow again is games, a platform that doesn't exceed $350 and delivers the same quality as it's rival platform.
