@jeremyct Min wage was 1.50. Most places pay over 16$ an hr. We didn’t have 1200$ phones and 8$ a day coffees. We didn’t eat out 75% of our meals and need vacations to everywhere 3xs a yr

@jeremyct Because they expect family to care for the elderly. I took care of my mother for 4 yrs with NO help and I couldn’t apply for government assistance because she was a legal immigrant who was on a green card. She had lived in The U.S. 60 yrs and never asked for gov assistance.

@JillianMichaels I am a Nanny and it drives me INSANE how much parent use any form of screens. Even if parents allow me to I don’t generally do screens at all, this includes TV. If I do it’s maybe 10 min out of a day. There are so many more things I can do with them that doesn’t involves a screen
