@quesomthin It’s not the same😭🤣🤣 this is why I don’t want my birthday dinner to be treated like an outing with my friends. Personally, my birthday dinner has a certain structure, and it’s not just people having a catch up conversation around the table.
@_theeunicorn_ @quesomthin I still feel like if you don’t pay at least a portion of the tab, then you’re basically inviting people to spend money on you for your bday. Whether they’re also enjoying that food or not, it’s still an expense you called them to do.
@_theeunicorn_ @quesomthin Your pov is valid. But also, it’s not that going to a bday dinner is a burden because they’re not really my friend, it’s the expense. You could be my best friend, yet finding the money to go out with you is a real hustle.
@_theeunicorn_ @RealityAssHole @kevinhadden954 Aren’t you expecting birthday gifts because it’s your birthday? This is why I’ve been saying, you pay for your guests meal and they pay for your birthday gift. Idk what’s so self centred about that. Everyone is giving and receiving - as it should be.
@BigPapi39702771 @clararsullivan @HallariousAmani @JusFriends4ever Olive Garden. When I say there’s a toast and all, obviously amongst just us at the table
