This happens but it’s very rare.
It’s very rare for hair to grow naturally in the mouth, and it’s usually not more than one or two strands when it does. That’s because the cells in the mouth don’t produce hair.
This amount of hair only grows in the mouth if the skin there is from another part of the body.
How?
When people undergo some surgeries, a little skin, called skin flap, is taken from another part of the body to make up for the lost skin in that area.
In this particular case, the man had a tumour in his palate (roof of the mouth) and the palate was removed surgically. A skin flap was then placed in his mouth to replace the lost palate. The flap was taken from his thigh.
Usually, there are ways to destroy the hair follicles in such skin before placing it in another part of the body but unfortunately, this wasn’t done.
So after some time, the hair started growing in his mouth.
It’s a rare occurrence. It can also be corrected.
The Teeth you envy and admire are cared for this way! 🦷

Once a child is 5 years old, they should have no business with sucking their thumb again.
It’s normal for younger children to suck their thumb but it should not be done for too long because it starts affecting them negatively.

Dear parents, here are 5 pieces of advice for you:
1. If you keep feeding children with sweets, biscuits, and sugary drinks, you’re not showing love o! Please, ration the amount of sugary items you give them to eat.
2. The best time to eat sweets is before they eat actual food. The chewing process will help in washing off the sugar from those items.
3. When you give children syrups, please make sure they rinse their mouth with water. Many of the sweetened syrups can also lead to cavities if they are allowed to stay too long in the child’s mouth.
4. Don’t allow children go to bed without brushing their teeth. It will help protect their mouth from diseases and will help them build a good oral hygiene habit.
5. Never allow babies go to bed with feeding bottle in their mouth.
Leaving sweet particles in their mouth overnight can make them develop diseases in the mouth at a very young age.
