i think the real conflict is not just a love triangle but savannah’s battle between who she used to be and who she is becoming. LA represents the version of herself that is wild, reckless, impulsive, and constantly running toward danger because it makes her feel alive. he is the thrill, the adrenaline, the fire she kept chasing because she thought intensity meant love. that is why their scenes feel like highs that are too bright, too fast, too heavy. it is why their moments often end in tears, guilt, or fear. LA is the past she cannot fully let go of, the part of her that taught her passion but also left her bruised.

vic on the other hand represents the part of savannah that is growing. he is the person who meets her where she is without forcing her to pretend. with him she is raw, unfiltered, honest, and she does not have to perform a personality or chase danger to feel wanted. vic becomes her anchor, not because he controls her but because he stays steady when everything else feels unpredictable.

for me, LA is not a ghost but a symbol of savannah’s emotional past. he is not dead, but he is the version of love she needs to outgrow. her visions of him, the heavy scenes, the emotional confrontations, all show that she is fighting memories, patterns, and expectations she once romanticized. vic stands by her through that battle. he becomes the safe space where she learns that love can be gentle without being boring. he teaches her that she does not need to chase danger to feel something real.

this also explains the parallel shots in the teaser. savannah clinging to LA reflects her fear of letting go of the past, while her quiet moments with vic show how healing feels when someone chooses you with patience instead of pressure. LA challenges her emotions. vic supports her growth.

which is why #SaVic, for me, is the endgame. savannah is her truest self with vic. he does not save her, he stands with her while she saves herself. that is the kind of love that lasts. #TeamSaVic
