As a Gabby fan who only started following the Valks because of Gabby, I speak for everyone when I say the Valks are Veronica’s team before anybody else's.

Anyone on the team can sit out and the Valks defense will still be good. Kiah missed a game due to concussion protocol, and they won by 20. That doesn’t make Kiah less of a defender. Your point doesn’t make Gabby less worthy of DPOY, it shows the Valks defensive depth.
