Angry Residents of Anchau town in Kubau LGA, Kaduna State, confronted heavily armed bandits terrorists who try to invade their town, the terrorists abandoned their plan after failing to disperse the angry Youths, despite firing multiple shots.
I woke up thinking about the WAEC conversation that dominated X and other platforms all weekend.
For me, this is not abstract politics. It is personal history.
While some people, like a former governor of Anambra turned presidential candidate, built reputations around inflated WAEC examination outcomes and a culture where “special centres” and malpractice became part of the national education conversation that it took a serious threat by WAEC before they were closed under a new administration in Anambra, many of us were direct beneficiaries of a different model: investment in real schools, better classrooms, stronger public education, and the payment of SSCE fees by the then Governor of Lagos State, now President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
I, O’tega Ogra, and many others across the private and public sectors, including leaders now serving in politics and governance (including two strong women currently the APC Deputy Governorship candidate of Lagos State and APC Surulere I LSHA Candidate), came through a Lagos education system that did not simply chase headlines. It expanded access. It reduced the burden on parents. It built actual education infrastructure as legacy. It gave ordinary students a fairer chance. Lagos’ payment of WAEC fees under Governor Tinubu was publicly reported as far back as 2004, when ₦214 million (about 10% of its average monthly IGR by that year) was released for students’ examination fees. (NOTE: As Governor, he started paying these fees in 2000 for all students regardless of state of origin or tribe)
That is the difference between gaming outcomes and building systems that outlive you.
Examination malpractice weakens a country. It produces certificates without competence, rankings without reality, and applause without substance. WAEC itself continues to treat malpractice as a serious threat to the credibility of education, with recent sanctions and withheld results showing how deep the problem remains nationally.
I know why I am a firm supporter, believer, and follower of our President and my leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT
His historical antecedents, his clarity of vision, and his consistent belief in expanding opportunity are not new. They did not start in Abuja. They were tested in Lagos. Many of us are living proof.
President Tinubu’s politics has always been about opening doors: for the poor child whose parents could not afford exam fees, for the young person who needed a functioning public school, for the talented Nigerian who only needed government to remove one barrier.
That is why, when we speak of Renewed Hope, some of us are not speaking from slogans. We are speaking from memory. We have seen the model before. We benefited from it. We know what it can do when scaled nationally. And we are seeing the building blocks of sustainable progress being laid for the entire country now by President Tinubu himself.
The debate should not be about who can manufacture the best statistics. It should be about who has the record, courage, and vision to build systems that give every Nigerian child a real chance for the long term prosperity of our dear nation.
For me, that answer has always been clear. It is the Jagaban himself. Asiwaju of Nigeria. Barkindo. Dike Si Mba Anambra and the Omeziri Igbo 1, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

So we added another $500 million to our External Reserves and we are now at $50.11 Billion.
The last time it was this high was 17 years ago on January 26, 2009.
This President will fulfil his campaign promise and surpass Nigeria's all time high of $64 Billion.
CBN governor Cardoso said his aim is to get us to $100 billion in foreign reserves.
I know he can achieve it.
I wish him luck.
ANOTHER DEMON SENT TO HELL
Just like a scene cropped out from a blockbuster action movie, the hunters became the hunted.
The night was dark and fear doninated the forests as criminal networks held firm grip over the territory, or so they believed, until the valiant Nigerian troops moved with precision, patience, and deadly intelligence to reclaim what is truly ours.
Every step was calculated. Every move was deliberate. The trap these agents of terror never anticipated had been set.
Then came the decisive moment.
Kachalla Ibrahim Battijo - a notorious terrorist kingpin whose name had echoed through criminal corridors - found himself face-to-face with the full force of a determined nation.
In a coordinated operation in Kogi State, Nigerian troops struck with remarkable bravery and tactical brilliance, neutralising the terror leader and shattering the illusion of invincibility that had shielded his network. The disgusting Kachalla was human afterall - and was reduced to a rotten flesh and bone.
But the operation did not end there.
Like pulling the head from a venomous serpent, security forces went further to dismantle key elements of Battijo's criminal empire, disrupting the machinery of terror that had long threatened innocent communities.
This struck a timely yet powerful alarm that while criminals may hide in forests, caves, and shadows, the reach of intelligence-led security operations is longer than fear itself.
With the head of the network gone and its remaining remnants scattered or captured, local communities across the region can breathe a sigh of relief.
The message from the frontlines remains unmistakable: the Nigerian state's reach is long, its intelligence is deep, and its resolve to protect its citizens is absolute.
If this pleasing news does not excite you, you may not be armed yet, but you are also a terrorist. For when those who prey on innocent lives are brought to justice, every patriot should find reason to celebrate.
After all, as the saying goes, when the village rejoices at the defeat of the hyena, only the hyena's kin mourn the loss.
Good Morning Severally...
@Mansaah_Musa Most Nigerians are emotional & political @ dis period, we should focus more d sub nationals not d govt @ d Centre, hold Yr Governors & local govt. Chairman accountable.
President Bola Tinubu is going to be re-elected in 2027, not because all our challenges would have disappeared but because he has addressed some of our most pressing issues (fraud in the petroleum sector, exchange rate instability, ASUU strikes, etc). The silent majority will speak with their votes!
Sometimes we need to remove emotions, tribal sentiment and social media propaganda and tell ourselves the bitter truth.
If Peter Obi was from Ebonyi, Imo, Enugu or Abia, would he receive this same overwhelming support from Ndi-Igbo?
The honest answer is NO.
Many people may not like this conversation, but it needs to be said.
The support Peter Obi gets from a large section of Ndi-Anambra is not completely because he is the best or the most qualified Igbo politician. A huge part of it is because he is from Anambra State. Let’s stop pretending otherwise.
For years, many people have acted like the leadership of Ndigbo must revolve around Anambra interests, and anybody outside that circle is automatically seen as inferior, irrelevant or not “fit” enough.
Now let’s ask the real question nobody wants to answer:
What exactly has Peter Obi personally done for Igbo land politically at the federal level before becoming a presidential candidate?
He worked under Abacha’s regime — what major Igbo project did he attract then?
What visible federal infrastructure across the South East can people confidently point to and say: “Peter Obi made this happen”?
Now compare that with Dave Umahi.
Love him or hate him, the man left visible projects behind.
From 2015 to 2023, he transformed Ebonyi from one of the most neglected and mocked states in Nigeria into one of the fastest developing states in the country. Today Ebonyi is no longer the forgotten state people used to laugh at.
As Minister of Works today, several major roads affecting Igbo land are receiving attention:
• Enugu–Onitsha Expressway
• Enugu–Makurdi–Abuja Road
• Calabar–Ebonyi–Abuja Coastal Route
• Multiple federal road interventions across the South East
These are physical projects people can see with their eyes, not just social media motivation and emotional speeches.
Yet, this same man is insulted daily by some Ndi-Anambra simply because he is from Ebonyi.
Ironically, outside Igbo land, Umahi is receiving more respect and recognition than he gets from his own people.
Yes, no politician is perfect. Umahi has shortcomings too. But Ndigbo must learn to separate hatred, envy and state superiority complex from reality.
This is not about hating Peter Obi.
This is about asking ourselves a difficult question:
Are we supporting competence and results… or are we simply supporting our own state people?
Because sometimes, the loudest supporters of “New Nigeria” are still deeply trapped in old tribal politics.

Many Tinubu supporters are not following themselves. Most are running solo.
If we all follow each other, no Tinubu supporter will have less than 20,000 active followers who will engage your posts.
I hope everybody can now see the wickedness in what Peter Obi posted this morning. It is the kind of politics that hides behind useless grammar while innocent people are being slaughtered and kidnapped by Fulani bandits.
Let me break this down clearly.
First, anytime these bloodthirsty criminals invade communities, abduct people, destroy livelihoods and leave families in tears, Peter Obi’s first instinct is never to condemn the bandits themselves. Never. His energy is always reserved for attacking the government. Every single time. It is almost as if the murderers are invisible to him while the government becomes the only villain in the story.
Second, the moment insecurity entered Yoruba land and 46 people were kidnapped in Ogbomoso, he suddenly found his voice repeatedly on the matter. Fine. But what happened next? Yoruba people naturally became vigilant in defending their land, profiling suspicious elements and in several instances some were reportedly caught with ammunition. Suddenly, Peter Obi turned around to condemn the people trying to protect themselves.
So what exactly is the message here? That Yoruba people should fold their arms, sing kumbaya and wait to be slaughtered?
This is the same pattern we saw during Emefiele’s cashless policy disaster. He supported it loudly because he believed it would hand him political advantage, even while ordinary Nigerians suffered immensely.
Politics without conscience is wickedness. And when politicians start weaponizing national pain just to score political points, Nigerians must stop applauding and start paying attention.

On The State Police Conversation - I'm Very Happy
One thing I have always respected about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is that the man has never been afraid of difficult and unpopular conversations in Nigeria even when people hated him for it.
Many young Nigerians shouting online today were probably still children between 2001 to 2007 when Tinubu was already talking about and seriously fighting OBJ about true federalism, state policing, local intelligence, fiscal restructuring, and why overcentralization would continue to damage governance and security in Nigeria. Back then many people mocked these conversations because oil money was still flowing and insecurity had not fully exploded across the country yet.
Fast forward to today, look at where Nigeria has found itself. Terrorists occupying forests, governors crying about lack of powers, communities relying on vigilantes, kidnappers moving freely through rural routes and everybody now suddenly realizing that one man sitting in Abuja cannot realistically police every inch of this country alone.
This is why I smiled deeply yesterday reading that discussions around state police and constitutional restructuring are now moving seriously at the highest level under this administration. History will eventually be kind to Tinubu for many things some people are insulting him for today.
The painful truth is that leadership in Nigeria has always been easier when presidents choose deception over difficult reforms. Promise everybody heaven, borrow money quietly, subsidize problems, centralize everything in Abuja and Nigerians will clap for you temporarily. But the real builders are usually the leaders willing to touch dangerous areas previous politicians were afraid to go near because of politics and popularity.
Tinubu may not be perfect, no leader is, but one thing nobody can take away from him is courage. Political courage. Economic courage. Institutional courage. The courage to enter rooms many Nigerian leaders avoid because they are scared of headlines, protests and social media outrage.
Years from now many people insulting him today will pretend they always understood where some of these reforms and security conversations were heading.
Good morning, Well Meaning Nigerians! ❤️
Some cabals are afraid of PBAT's re-election and they are desperate.
If a man who is facing re-election can damn the consequences of politics unlike his predecessors to remove subsidy, break the BDC black market racketeering, NNPC 100% remittance to FAAC ( these 3 items were the biggest heist against the Nigerian economy and its citizens )
He is pushing to disrupt the politics at the local level with LG Autonomy that will empower LG and stop them from being stooges of governors.
States Police, a decentralised security architecture with the establishment of Police Academies and Army Depots in different regions.
Tax reform and internal sharing of VAT to favour Derivation. Wealth should be distributed to align more with where it is derived.
Creation of other regional development commissions.
No President has been bold enough to tackle these issues since 1999.
"What will he do when he is not facing re-election" ?
Well, I will agree with Seun on this #UniteAgainstTerror
But let me make it clear that our Radio and TV OAPs are the main problems in spreading FEAR & Panic, so they should not act surprised if it looks closer to all.....
YOU ALL wake up daily to speak fear into the Atmosphere "There's insecurity everywhere, Nigeria is finished, Nothing is working"....Then, the Chaos is responding to your daily narratives and suddenly, you're all awake....
As we speak today, in the USA, mass shooting has climbed to 167 while mass murder (like Owo Catholic Church Incidence) is already 10 in less than 6 month. But you will never see this glorified or amplified by the Media in the USA because they need to control the Media Space instead of pushing out fears.....
You guys will underreport great feat of our Military against Insurgents 99 times, but will amplify that 1 attack and so demoralize the Military by bringing useless "security Herdsparts" to the studio to talk down on our Military...
Do you all think if these demons have their ways, we will be able to go to work of place of worship? Keep running PR gig for kidnappers and insurgents by posting fake New and old videos from another Country to create more panic...
