Mother Nature pulled out the buffet table for us yesterday. Wild temperature swings and a powerful thunderstorm late last night. I was able to capture some of the lightening over the city before the rains came. Snow tonight!

A brief, but forceful, snow squall moved over the area last evening. As it cleared, I was fortunate enough to witness the beauty of the nighttime clouds and pristine blanket of snow left in it’s wake!

I have been basking the beautiful light of the Snow Moon these past few days. She has woken me in the night, filling my bedroom with brilliant light and magical energy. As it began to set over the city a few moments ago, I was gifted another show of its beauty!

@HughAcheson @nprscottsimon I couldn’t agree more…brought tears to my eyes. I was driving and had to stop. I have a similar memory of my grandfather’s cuff links. Like he, and your father, I too had an issue with alcohol. I can say though, for just today, sober life is amazing. Thank you, Scott!!!!
