@bpjenkin123088 They only work right with the proper weight attached. This one works with 700 grams - 1100 grams / 1.5 lbs. - 2.4 lbs. Check your mic on the manufacturer website for weight. I use a similar stand (different brand), and it shoots up like a catapult without the mic attached. 😎

I probably only book 2-3% of the gigs I audition for.
Understanding that auditioning is the job is important.
Not being ok with rejection is fine, but you also need to have a certain level of acceptance of that rejection.
